The primary objective of the course is to understand the interactions between socio-economic development, spatial planning, and environmental conservation, as well as to learn tools and methods for assessing and promoting sustainable development strategies.

In the laboratory sessions, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tools are used for an in-depth analysis of a selected study area. |
