Upon successful completion of the course, the student should:
- have proven knowledge and understanding of the factors that shaped and still shaping the rural area
- be capable of distinguish the differences and describe the evolution of rural space in different historical periods
- be able to compare farming systems and agricultural production systems in different parts of the world.
Ultimately, by interpreting, composing and evaluating the concepts and information taught, he / she should be able to communicate his / hers own thoughts and
arguments regarding the evolution of the structure and dynamics of the rural area when one or more of its shaping factors are changing.
