- Define and describe basic concepts in Ecotoxicology
- Examine emerging environmental issues
- Discuss and develop insight into the following terms and concepts as they relate to ecotoxicology: pollutants, fate and transport of pollutants in the environment, air, water and soil pollution, toxicology, effects in human organisms, ecotoxicological tests, risk assessment.
- Develop an understanding of the behavior and movement of contaminants in air, water and soil
