This course is designed to provide a survey of major topics in General Didactics, and to examine current controversial issues in the field. The aim of the course (in General Didactics) is to equip students with theoretical and practical competence, so that, independently, they will be able to make and justify choices in connection with the planning, preparation, evaluation, and further development of teaching and learning activities.

2. Choosing topic for assignment 3. Contemporary issues in teaching 4. Group activities/Evaluating traditional approach 5. The meaning of teaching in real life setting 6. Theories of teaching and learning 7. Comparing general education to the academic one 8. The structure of the curriculum and its impact in teaching 9. Planning and Organization of teaching and learning 10. Methods and strategies of teaching 11. Criteria for acquiring, producing, and using various types of educational materials, including information and communication technology 12. The organization of the school as a forum for teaching and learning activities 13. Final Presentations |
