Acquire knowledge for:
• The main mechanisms of operation of the economic, social and environmental systems and their interactions
• the comprehensive impact assessment as a result:
(A) an anthropogenic developmental policy intervention (eg investment for the installation of a hotel or a wind farm or industrial unit)
(B) an environmental policy (eg declaring a protected area)
• measuring and evaluating the development status of an area, designing alternative policies that address identified economic, social and / or environmental problems and assessing the impact of these policies.
