Wastewater characteristics, primary, secondary and tertiary treatment of municipal wastewater.

  5. Biological treatment (activated sludge, BOD removal)

  8. Field Trip – Mytilene’s Sewage Treatment Plant (STP)
  9. Wastewater disinfection (chlorination)
  10. Wastewater reuse
  11. Sludge treatment (thickening, anaerobic digestion)
