- To understand the different types and the characteristics of agro-industrial wastewater
- To understand the main biological and physicochemical processes that are applied during industrial wastewater treatment
- To apply simple equations for the design of industrial wastewater treatment
- To understand and evaluate the current legislations on industrial wastewater treatment
- To apply in the lab commonly applied processes for agro-industrial wastewater treatment and evaluate the results
- To determine the main chemical parameters that are used during the operation of industrial wastewater treatment
