The course is taught IN ENGLISH
-Discuss basic concepts of environmental health and convey an understanding of their value and importance.
-Discuss and develop insight into the following terms and concepts as they relate to global environmental health: toxic chemicals, diseases, indoor pollution, occupational exposure, air, water and soil pollution, diet.
-Identify individual and human behaviours that hinder the well-being of environmental health globally.
-Familiarize with the legislation on occupational health and safety.
-Develop critical thinking skills on environmental issues.
