Understand the process by which national environmental policy is designed and implemented & international environmental treaties are negotiated; Become aware of relevant stakeholders, their preferences, and the path by which they can influence environmental policy making; Identify the relevant scientific basis on which new environmental policy should be based; Understand the role of media in environmental politics; IN THE SEMINAR– Study and comprehend the I= PAT complex (Impact on the environment = Population Size * Affluence * Technology).
