The main objective of the course “Transport and Environment” is to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of how transport systems impact the environment and to equip them with the knowledge to design sustainable, efficient, and resilient transport networks. It emphasizes environmental challenges, such as emissions, pollution, and climate change, and explores modern technologies, sustainable urban mobility strategies, and Intelligent Transport Systems to minimize the environmental footprint of transportation.
