After successful completion of the course, students will

• Understand and describe contemporary and specialized issues in Environmental Science
• Analyze and compare environmental issues and approaches that have been studied in different academic settings (in the context of Erasmus mobility).
• Synthesize information from different fields of knowledge and present well-documented conclusions.
• Integrate knowledge acquired at different institutions and within different educational systems in the context of Erasmus academic mobility.

The course “Special Topics in Environmental Science” is intended exclusively for students who participated in Erasmus mobility programs and have taken relevant courses at partner institutions abroad. The aim of the course is the academic recognition and alignment of subjects falling within the broader field of Environmental Science, providing a flexible framework for integrating courses with different content and specializations. The specific topics and form of assessment are determined on a case-by-case basis and vary depending on the Receiving institution’s Erasmus program and the relevance of the courses taken abroad to the field of Environmental Science.
